@Danny Brown, For sure Danny but we all know commenting and guest posting goes hand in hand with also gaining exposure to a wider audience for a personal benefit also ;)

I can recommend guest posting as a great way of getting exposure for your blog, I had a post recently at ProBlogger and it got me some 15% of my traffic in the following days, including some 60+ RSS subscribers. I would like to get a guest post at Chris Brogan, just as he is seen as one of the biggest names in the marketing/social media field, and his blog might get my blog a lot of exposure.
