To write or Not to write, that is the question
I’m told that to be in Social Media I have to blog, it’s not something I necessarily agree with but I will be making more of an effort on this blog for my own reasons which will become clear later.
Many people in Social Media think they need to rant so I thought I would join the gang, I also hope along the way to give you some interesting posts, pauses for thoughts, some screencasts some more rants, some more pauses (pregnant or not) and if you are real lucky some audio and video moments.
Wow you guys are lucky!
Seriously? Why now?
I just felt that I had neglected writing and that its about time to kick myself up the butt (Thanks Dave).
I have never been an eloquent writer (see what I mean), but it’s also a skill I wish I was better at, hence me starting or at the very least proclaiming to start…
You can help me though if you would like to get involved. See those empty fields at the bottom? You put in some personal details and then you leave whats called in technical terms ‘a comment’…whoa
What I’m looking for from you gifted or not so gifted writers (like me) please are some links to some of your favorite posts that helped you out honing your skills or even the posts on just getting started.
J.F.G.I I hear you say (Just F$cking Google It) yes I could but I know there are some people who are going to have much better ideas and suggestions than google does that’s why I am so passionate about Social Media, the connections and ability to share ideas and strengths.
I am English, I speak English, I write English but that doesn’t mean I can write…you know what I mean?
Now I have to think of a title for this as I’m told by some people you should write the title after the post…..hmmmm

Thanks Anne CopyBlogger sure is popular! Will check that one out too!
I think this is a challenge faced by a lot of people whose lives revolve around the web — social media, web designers, developers, whatever. It’s one thing to accept the popular notion that “you must have a blog” but another to actually find the time to keep it up and find interesting topics to write about. That’s definitely been my challenge. I relaunched my personal site earlier this year, but the blog has been sadly neglected.
As far as the English skills go, that’s just something that will come with a lot of practice, and of course having some good examples to look at. I second Michael’s comment about CopyBlogger. A couple other links to look at:
