It's one thing to accept the popular notion that "you must have a blog" but another to actually find the time to keep it up and find interesting topics to write about. That's definitely been my challenge. I relaunched my personal site earlier this year, but the blog has been sadly neglected. As far as the English skills go, that's just something that will come with a lot of practice, and of course having some good examples to look at. I second Michael's comment about CopyBlogger.
