SEO Tool suggestions

Yesterday afternoon I made a call out on Twitter for any suggestions for Good SEO tools. Some people kindly answered. Two responses were;

As I’m not one for using my head I awaited ‘THE LIST’ and sure enough @grindvision came up with one.

These lists are everywhere and talking to a buddy on IM yesterday we both agreed most are out of date or non functional or just an absolute pile of crap, so over the next weeks, months, years however long I’m going to take ‘THE LIST’ and review some of the suggestions.

Part One will start with Page Rank Checkers

These were the suggestions with original descriptions;

Page Rank

Rank Checker – Get an overview of your website's ranking
PageRank Lookup – Check the PageRank for a website
Google PageRank Prediction – Check predicted PR of a site
Multi-Rank Checker – View your Google PageRank and Alexa Ranking in bulk
PageRank Checker – Check Your Google Page Rank, view your Google PageRank on differnet Google servers.

Do they work? Strangely enough all the links to this were working which was a shock so maybe these really are SEO tools we will see. Are any ‘Real’ SEO’s using tools like this? Review will start tomorrow or sooner if I dont fall asleep after my faux Thanksgiving Turkey!

    I use to use these tools, but I just don’t anymore. You never know what your page rank is.

    I make sure to validate all code, and hope that helps. Using W3c for xhtml and CSS

    Jim Gaudet´s last blog post..What is uSocial.net? Spammers?
